# General questions
# What is the Sync?
The Sync is a feature that allows you to seamlessly update and access your library across multiple devices. It ensures that your library is consistent and up-to-date regardless of the device you are using.
# What data is synced?
Sync includes library, reading history, bookmarks, repositories, and extensions.
# What data will not be synced?
Local source files, local extensions, downloads, updates, app settings, extension settings, and auth info for trackers will not be synced.
# When does sync occur?
Sync is triggered automatically in the background at set intervals or upon specific events such as app launch, content update, or your own sync requests. This ensures that your data is consistent across all your linked devices.
# How much time and data are required for sync?
Initial Full Sync: The initial full sync may take several minutes to complete, depending on the number of titles. This process consumes data bandwidth as it transmits a large amount of data. Subsequent Incremental Sync: Subsequent sync after the initial full sync is completed swiftly and efficiently. Incremental syncs are quick and consume significantly less data compared to the initial sync process.
